SCAMANDER
Nestled in the north-east of Tassie is a small town called Scamander. It's not hard to miss. The signs literally say 'Famous Surf Beach' and the road from Bicheno to Scamander is nick-named the surf coast. Explore this amazing coastline, and grab a coffee at Swims, a cafe built from a container (pictured below).
It's also home to a few pro-surfers like Dion Agius. Agius is not only an amazing surfer, but a serial entrepreneur, starting brands like Epokhe & Standard Procedure, along with a bunch of collaborations under his belt. You can shop his products both online and in store at Natural Necessity.
You can also stay at Agius' own Tiny Home CNTNR while in Scamander. It's a true testament to his creativity and style and definitely worth a visit.
